MY JOURNEY
Estelle Matranga is a singer, songwriter and sound guide whose music emerges from the intersection of personal alchemy and sacred sound. Born in Nice, France, she spent years navigating a path back to her own voice – her initiations began with the passing of her mother in her early twenties, moving across the globe to call California her new home, then to British Columbia, before returning to France after a journey that lasted nearly ten years. Eventually, she was catapulted in her new life after the loss of her father. She understood that the journey itself was the work.
Her songs are not written so much as excavated.
Drawing from deep listening, somatic practices and infusing the spirit of her creative influences in the forming of her artistic self, she creates music that functions as a mirror – inviting listeners to recognize something they already know is there.
Today, Estelle offers original music, live sound journeys and song leadership spaces, for those ready to reclaim their inner power and step fully into their expression.
She currently resides in the South of France where she replenishes with the Azur sky and sea and the views of the mountains nearby.
This is music and medicine for the courageous heart.
Every song I write carries a piece of the journey. Here’s where it began:‘

THE SOUL’S MURMURS
As a child talking, dancing and singing was part of life. I always deeply felt something strong and beautiful stirring in my heart. I sought to connect to music but it was never the right time. I bought my first guitar in my early twenties, still, music could not take root in the soil of my life.
#2
THE SPIRITUAL CONNECTION
My early twenties were marked by the sudden loss of my mother which marked the beginning of a long healing journey. I left to experience my long time dream of living in the United States. That’s when I began the long and sinuous journey of reconnecting with my Spiritual Self.

THE CALL
It wasn’t until I was in my mid-thirties, back in my home country, confused by all the moving parts of my life and feeling the inadequacy of my inner life with my outer life, that I felt the Call. One cold winter evening, walking home in the streets of Paris, I looked up to the dark sky and the message was delivered : “I need to open up my voice”.
So, my quest began.
#4
THE CATALYST
I travelled to Northen California to attend my first Songwriting Festival. A week before, I channeled my first song, born from the question “What am I supposed to do with all of this?” My journey with the voice and with songs was entwined with the passing of my father from this life to the next. An ending, a beginning. While this rupture brought me to my knees, it stripped me away from everything that was not me. From this catalyst moment, I was given the strength to start building the dream I always dreamed.
#5
THE EXPANSION
As I enter this new stage of expansion into my creative expression, I cannot help but to look back in gratitude and bowing to the Grace that carried me through my darkest nights. I am rejoicing in the beginning of this new chapter creating with life.
